We’ve grown quite a bit the past few months and we couldn’t be more grateful to all of those who helped make this possible so far. We’ve just crossed the 1,000 sales mark – while still maintaining our consistent 5* rating and happy adventurers left and right.

We’re a small group of family and friends who act like family working on this shop, so our own adventure so far has been an absolute success and we’re excited for the future. The goal of opening up a genuine table top tavern seems more and more realistic every time we get a message or a review telling us how happy we’ve made you!

One of the greatest parts is since this is a family adventure, we’re excelling at maintaining our goal to complete and submit every order the day it was received. As everyone knows, we invested the profits that we had gotten from our early stages into a lasering device allowing us to engrave and cut a variety of materials. We’re using it A LOT. But honestly… It could be used more. We have fun seeing things come to life, and we love seeing the different ideas you all have had for how to customize your trays and tins.

In terms of capability of the laser… We’re barely scratching the surface with it right now. The difficult thing is we’ve wanted to maintain a clear focus on our goals and missions for the gaming community, and that leaves little room to experiment and test new ideas for products. As mentioned, this is a family adventure, but like most families – not everyone has the same exact passions. That’s where we went to introduce Beyond The Bison.

Beyond The Bison was intended to be a sister store, literally, to The Rusty Bison – allowing our tools and space to be put to use on non-gaming related items by the family that doesn’t share the same exact passions as we do. After a lot of discussion, and even some testing on a separate Etsy shop – we have decided to make this a direct sub-set to The Rusty Bison shop.

The speed and efficiency that we process orders, respond to questions, etc is a great strength of ours, and we wanted to provide the same level of care and consideration to anyone who chooses to purchase from Beyond the Bison.

We also have a lot of bonus discounts on our items, for purchasing 2+ and 3+ from our shop, which would be lost if someone wanted to purchase something from both shops.

Finally, we want to stay together. We’re a party, and even when parties have the same goal – there are always side quests and personal play styles that will shine through.

Because of this, we will be introducing the products on a group called Beyond The Bison, and we will continue on this adventure together.
