(UPDATE: We’re apparently idiots and really don’t know how to use anything online anymore. We posted this a few days ago and didn’t even set it to be visible, and made a Twitter and forgot to check it out and a lot of people have been so awesome and it probably seems like we’re ignoring you all. I’m SO sorry! We’ll figure this all out! )

So we haven’t checked in on our website in two months, but we’ve been working hard at continuing to expand what we have on our Etsy shop and are continuing to grow at a surprisingly positive rate.

Last time we updated, we just crossed the 100 sales line, which felt amazing. Since then we’ve been adding more to our product lines and have already started quickly marching toward 500 sales.

We’ve been loving all of the positive feedback we hear from all of the people using us for their gaming accessories. That is probably the best part of all of this for us, and a major motivation in continuing to grow.

We’re really focused on having a large variety of customized/personalized products that we can get together and ship out the same day (or next day, depending on the mail is picked up that day). That’s not an easy task, but we’ve been keeping good on that goal so far. One of our Etsy recognized Best Sellers has been our personalized engraved PU leather dice trays.

One of the jokes/realities around buying a product has been the “Choose 2 out of the 3” anecdote that gets thrown around. Speed, Price, Quality. Most places say you can only ever have two of those, sacrificing the third in the list. Fast and Cheap does not always equate to high quality. Fast and Nice usually means it’s expensive. You get the idea.

We believe we’ve solved this issue. Our Dice Trays have been same day shipped, high quality, and regularly sell for $16 (free shipping) and even cheaper when you purchase multiple items from our shop in the same order, as we have bonus % discounts for orders of 2, and 3+.

Because of the success of this, and the excitement around what we’re doing, we’ve taken some of the modest profits we’ve made so far through our Etsy shop and have invested in a larger and more flexible laser machine that will allow us to do even more custom work on a variety of materials moving forward. We can’t wait to get this delivered and to start building up even more to provide to those who support us.

One more thing – Our most popular item by far has been our Mystery Dice. Selling for $5 (again and as always with The Rusty Bison, free shipping) and you get a single order of a randomly selected set of dice that we carry. This also includes those bonus discounts for multiple orders. We’ve had some tell us they’re addicted to getting their mystery sets in the mail, and a lot of people have come back for more. We think that’s awesome!
